Wisconsin Indian Associations

Wisconsin is home to several Indian community associations.

Major Indian groups (Tamils, Telugus, Malayalees, Bengalis, and Kannadigas) have their own associations.

Besides language based associations, there are organizations representing the interests of students as well.

  • Wisconsin Indian associations are vibrant and organize events to celebrate prominent Indian festivals and events like Ugadi, Sri Rama Navami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dasara, Diwali, Sankranti and Vishu that bond the community.

Most of these events include cultural programs like Carnatic and Bollywood music concerts and Bhangra and as well as food counters serving Mysore Masala Dosa, Idly, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Samosa, Biryani etc.
